The Affordable Care Act (ACA) is the healthcare reform law that expands and improves access to care and curbs spending through regulations and taxes. It was a tough filing season in regards to the new ACA 1094 and 1095 forms. Employers faced several challenges, and as soon as we all got comfortable we find out the IRS this summer released the draft forms for 2016 filing season with several updates.
Expert Dayna Reum will review these updates so you are ready in the new year for filing season 2016 and avoid the challenges faced for the 2015 filing season. This webinar will review lessons learned from 2015 along with how we can make this process easier moving forward. We will also review common issues that the IRS saw and how we can avoid them.
During the webinar the speaker will also discuss the significant impact of the President's executive order on employer plans down the road. As a result, employers still have to be prepared to comply with the ACA’s reporting requirements, for which the first deadline falls on Feb. 28, 2017.
